Green spinach salad with yogurt
-
500 g cups of raw spinach
-
1 big onion
-
2 tablespoons of olive oil
-
2 teaspoons of ground turmeric
-
Salt
-
Pepper
-
2 clove of garlic
-
1 cup of yoghurt
-
Put the spinach on a cutting board
-
Chop it finely with a big knife
-
Peel the onion and cut it in small pieces
-
Put a wide pan on the stove on medium fire
-
Put the oil in the pan
-
Add the onion
-
Steer the onions for 5 minutes
-
add the ground turmeric and continue stirring until the onions are yellowish
-
Add the spinach and continue steering
-
When the leafs are soft put the lid on the pan and let it stay on the fire for 2 to 3 minutes
-
Put the spinach mixture on a big plate and let it cool down
-
Peel the garlic and press them
-
Mix the garlic through the yoghurt
-
Than mix the yoghurt with with spinach
-
If you like, add some pepper and salt
-
Enjoy the delicious starter

for 6 or 7 people
Time to cook: 8 minutes
Time to prepare: 20 minutes
Total time: 28 minutes
This salad is something that could be made in the fall to impress your friends
Tip:
Can be very nice with turkish bread
