pistachios crispy salad 

This salad is a nice fresh and light starter

  • Crisp lettuce

  • Small bunch of mint

  • ¼ cup of pistachios nuts

  • Pepper

  • salt

  • ½ teaspoon of cumin

  • ¼ onion

  • The grated peel of 1 orange

  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  1. Wash and dry the salad and the mint

  2. Rip the salad in small pieces and the mint of the twig

  3. Cut the onion in small pieces (look at the photo)

  4. Mix all three ingredients in a bowl

  5. Put the nuts in a blender and make them into small pieces

    1. or put them in a plastic bag and crush them with something hard and not breakable

  6. Put the nuts in a frying pan without oil on medium fire

  7. Stop when you can smell them stronger. Don’t let them get brown

  8. Put the pistachios nuts, orange peel and the olive oil in a small bowl and mix

  9. Add as much as you like, salt and pepper

  10. Add the cumin

  11. Mix the dressing you just made with the salad

  12. and enjoy this light starter
